Loubirouge celebrates the red-soled stiletto with a heel perched upon the City of Lights. The sensual sliver of red on the cap recalls Christian Louboutin idea that it is "the only colour that even people who don't like colour appreciate”.

For this fragrance, perfumer Marie Salamagne wanted to capture the essence of the House’s signature hue by orchestrating a trio of fragrant notes that were both glamorous and indisputably Parisian.

Loubirouge announces itself with a dazzling fusion of captivating spices and sparkling bergamot. In its heart, one discovers a perfectly harmonious combination of black leather and an exquisite trio of fragrant delights—benzoin, Peruvian balsam, and vanilla—all resting delicately on a bed of powdery iris as glamorous as Louboutin's iconic red soles.

The story behind

Loubirouge symbolizes Christian Louboutin’s founding story: he created his first designs in the Vero Dodat Galerie in Paris, which is known as home to the brand’s first boutique.

This is where he first painted the soles of his iconic red stilettos, using his
assistant’s nail polish.
