These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter the “GTCS”) apply to all retail sales of Christian Louboutin products (hereinafter the “Products”) concluded between any company within the CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN group and any natural person consumer (hereinafter the “Client”), carried out in a Christian Louboutin boutique located in France, Spain, Italy, the United Kingdom or Switzerland (excluding Department Stores and Outlets) (hereinafter the “Boutique(s)”).

Seller Identification (hereinafter “Christian Louboutin”)

- For purchases made in France: CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN BOUTIQUES FRANCE, a société par actions simplifiée with registered office at 19, rue Jean Jacques Rousseau, 75001 Paris, France, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 513 696 971.

- For purchases made in Spain: CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN ESPAÑA SA, Sociedad Anónima, registered office at Conde de Aranda 10, Local 2, 28001 Madrid, Spain, registered under number A85866283.

- For purchases made in Italy: CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN ITALIA, Società a Responsabilità Limitata, registered office at Piazza di S. Lorenzo in Lucina, 00186 Rome, Italy, registered under number RM–1249915.

- For purchases made in the United Kingdom: CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN UK LIMITED, registered office at 4th Floor Byron House, 7/9 St James’s Street, London, SW1A 1EE, United Kingdom, registered under number 06619840.

- For purchases made in Switzerland: CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN SUISSE SA, société anonyme, registered office at 17, rue du Rhône, 1204 Geneva, Switzerland, registered under number CH 660.2.619.009-4.

Products are exclusively intended for your personal use. By placing an order, the Client warrants that Products are not acquired for resale or commercial purposes.

Purchasing a Product entails full and unconditional acceptance of these GTCS. The applicable GTCS are those in force on the date of purchase. Christian Louboutin reserves the right to amend these GTCS at any time.

3.1 Price

Prices are indicated in the local currency of the country where the purchase is made and include applicable taxes. The full price must be paid at the time of purchase. Ownership of the Products remains with Christian Louboutin until full payment has been received. 

3.2 Payment

Accepted payment methods include Pay by Link, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Apple Pay.

Cash payments are accepted only for Products immediately available in Boutiques. Cash payments are not accepted for Ordered Products (see Article 4).

If a Product is unavailable in the Boutique at the time of the Client’s visit, the Client may place an order for that Product through a sales associate (hereinafter an “Ordered Product”). This service is available only in select Boutiques, for certain Products only, and remains subject to availability. Special conditions apply (see Articles 3.2 and 7.1).

Clients may order personalized Products through a sales associate (hereinafter a “Special Order”), available exclusively in select Boutiques. Special Orders become firm and binding upon acceptance by Christian Louboutin and cannot be cancelled or withdrawn by the Client. The price indicated at the time of confirmation of the Special Order shall apply. Payment must be made in full when placing the Special Order. Where a deposit is accepted (e.g., for embroidery), the balance is payable upon confirmation. Production timelines are indicative only and do not constitute a contractual commitment. If a Special Order cannot be fulfilled, the Client will be informed as soon as possible and reimbursed in full. Once the Special Order is ready, the Client will be notified. The Client must collect it within 15 days of notification or request delivery pursuant to Article 6.

As the Product is handcrafted, minor variations inherent to artisanal production may occur.

6.1 Delivery

Delivery is available subject to payment of applicable shipping fees. Products may only be delivered within the country of purchase. Delivery times are indicative and not guaranteed. At receipt, the Client must inspect the package. In case of visible damage, the Client must refuse delivery or indicate precise reservations on the delivery slip, then notify Christian Louboutin within 48 hours. Damaged Products may be returned after obtaining express authorization and instructions from Christian Louboutin. Return costs must be advanced by the Client and will be reimbursed upon presentation of receipts.

6.2 In-Boutique Collection

The Client may collect the Product in a Boutique offering this service If collected by a third party, the Client must inform the Boutique beforehand and provide the name of the authorized person. An original photo ID and the order confirmation email are required at collection.

Only unused Products, in perfect original condition, with original invoice, packaging and all accessories, may be returned, within 30 days of purchase in the country of purchase (excluding Department Stores and Outlets). In particular, the red sole must be in perfect condition, without any marks. Subject to inspection by Christian Louboutin, Products may be exchanged, refunded, or credited as non transferable store credit valid for 1 year in the country of purchase (excluding Department Stores and Outlets). Discounted items may only be exchanged. Beauty products, Special Orders, sale items and tax free purchases are non-returnable.

 

7.1 Derogations – Return of Ordered Products

The following specific return conditions apply to Ordered Products:

Ordered Products collected in a Boutique may only be returned, within 30 days of purchase, in the same Boutique where the purchase was made.

The Client must submit a return request to Christian Louboutin within 30 days of delivery using the link provided in the confirmation email or by contacting Customer Services (see Article 1).

After receiving confirmation from Christian Louboutin and the return label, the Client has 30 additional days to return the Product by following the instructions provided in the confirmation email. Late returns will not be accepted.

The Product must be securely packed in its original box, with all accessories. Improper packaging may result in refusal of the return.

Return shipping fees are covered by Christian Louboutin when the Client uses the prepaid label and the instructions provided with the order. The Client may choose another carrier at their own expense and risk, provided the return is made within the applicable deadline.

Refunds are issued to the original method of payment within 14 days of receipt of the returned Products.

Products may be brought to a Boutique for repair. Repairs are charged at the applicable rate, except for Products with an acknowledged lack of conformity.

The red sole is made from red lacquered leather. With wear, the soles will naturally scuff and the red lacquer will gradually fade from areas in contact with the ground, especially in wet conditions. This does not constitute a defect or lack of conformity, but a natural characteristic of wear.

Subject to the possible application of statutory guarantees, Christian Louboutin shall only be liable for damages resulting from gross negligence or willful misconduct. Christian Louboutin shall not be held liable where non performance of its obligations results from a third party, the Client’s own fault, or a force majeure event. Christian Louboutin declines all liability for any loss or damage caused to a person or Product as a result of improper handling or use.

These GTCS and related sales between Christian Louboutin and the Client are governed by the law of the country where the purchase is made. Disputes under these GTCS shall be brought to the competent courts of the country where the purchase is made.
