Today, it is rechristened La Pigalle, celebrating its singular and unmistakable identity.

The dream of Pigalle
Its origin was ignited by Christian Louboutin's own childhood memories: a museum sign, with a stiletto crossed out, forbidden and dangerous, fascinating and enticing. Consider too the rhythm of the dancers of les Folies Bergère, Christian's fantasy clients as a teenager, their arched feet moving effortlessly, exaggeration, freedom, an esprit… The dream of Pigalle was ignited.

In 2026, La Pigalle evolves. Its essential silhouette remains unchanged, a neo-classic whose perfect proportions endure. The construction has been refined with a softer silicone-padded interior for greater comfort, while the emblematic red sole is updated with the new Everlasting Red sole, preserving its iconic Forever Red colour and timeless appeal.
