Louis

Louis

Featuring Christian Louboutin’s signature red soles and named in honor of one of the designer’s closest friends, the Louis made its debut as part of the Maison’s first men’s collection in 2009. The sneaker’s rise to prominence was sealed when international pop star Mika wore a pair of Louis Spikes on stage, instantly establishing its status as a modern icon. With its refined blend of streetwear sophistication and subtle references to 1980s basketball style, the Louis quickly found favor among athletes, musicians, and style icons alike. Its loyal admirers include the likes of Tony Parker and Pharrell Williams.

The Louis was inspired by a walk through a classical French garden, accompanied by a dear friend of mine, Louis, who happens to be one of the finest landscape designers I know. The design had to embody simplicity, ease, and timeless.
